Sewell Peak

last week we were preparing to take a hike up sewell peak, the night before I made some lunch, sandwiches, oranges and muffin bar things. The next day all the year tens dressed in mufti then after a talk from teachers and such we proceeded to get in white vans and off we drove to sewell peak. On the way all the girls in our van were singing theme songs to TV shows and I'm pretty sure my ears were bleeding. The signing eventually stopped by the time we got to our destination. NCEA is a course all year 10's are taking next year, the walk is a metaphor for NCEA and the journey it will take to complete it, the challenge will be hard to overcome but when you get to the top you will be proud of yourself and will feel like you'll be able to do anything.
